Autumn is coming...

This is by far my most favourite time of year. The colours -wow! The cool air, the pumpkins and of course Samhain!

The ultimate win for me though is when I get to send out so many gorgeous galleries to families to gift for Christmas (sorry about dropping the C word in so early).

Autumn brings out the most amazing colours and can create such a stunning backdrop for family, dog and horse shoots. I honestly live for these shoots!

How to book

The window of opportunity is only very small, so I tend to tentatively take bookings with a rough date in mind and then firm them up as soon as the colours start to change. The best time to book is for October.

I have very limited spaces as I like to keep space free for bad weather days, which we’ve had many this year. So, booking early is essential!

The location

With so many places in Moray and the Highlands, we’re spoilt for choice!

When looking at locations, we want to look for places with those gorgeous rich autumn colours such as woodlands and hills. Lochs and mountains look stunning too. I will travel up to 1.5 hours to any location from Forres.
